Sometimes everyone needs support, challenge and help to make the most of themselves and to overcome the big and the less important issues that arise in everyday life. This is what I can offer you.
I believe that everyone has within themselves the resources they need to change the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that get in the way of living their life to the full. But sometimes these resources can be hard to find without outside help.
Coaching helps with the areas that you can consciously change and develop; hypnotherapy gets through to the unconscious working of the brain and tackles things at source. Sometimes willpower and conscious effort is not enough! And this is where the combination of coaching and hypnotherapy can have almost magical effects.

Hypnosis has a history stretching back several thousand years to ancient Chinese medicine. The Hindu Vedas refer to trance states and the use of hypnosis in about 1500 BC.
Hypnosis became well known in Western Europe in the 18th century , when the German physicist Mesmer publicised his findings about the effectiveness of hypnosis in curing his patients of all sorts of illnesses. He was followed by a Scottish physician called James Braid who discovered ways of helping his patients to focus their attention to speed their recovery, and in the 19th century, James Esdaile, a surgeon working in India, used hypnosis as a form of anaesthesia with his patients. Hypnosis went out of fashion for half a century as improved medicines became widely used, but returned as an effective way of treating people who had difficulties of an emotional as well as a physical nature. Milton Erikson, a 20th century American psychiatrist , combined hypnosis with verbal therapy to become the pioneer of hypnotherapy as it is now practised.
